A Timmins company will be in charge of most of the bars at Stars and Thunder.
Tap It Draught Services will be supplying craft beer at the eight day festival. Mayor Steve Black says this contract will cost the city $190,000, but the city receives all the beer sale revenue.
Tap It will be covering three of the five bars. Black says the Rotary Club will be serving at one bar and the city is still filling the fifth bar.
Beer sales are expected to help with festival costs. Black says the city still needs to sell 3,000 to 4,000 week-long tickets to break even.
