Timmins Rock Announces New President

The Timmins Rock have announced that Director Ted Gooch has been appointed to President of the NOJHL club effective February 20th.

Gooch will be taking over for Scott Marshall who is stepping down to team advisor. Marshall devoted over 18 years of his professional life to the not-for-profit organization.

Gooch says that the Rock are thankful to the City of Timmins and its residents in showing its support to the hockey club. He adds that attendance shows Timmins was hungry for good caliber hockey, and is positive the team is moving in the right direction to deliver a quality organization on and off the ice.

The Timmins Rock competes in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL), and is one of 131 Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) teams who compete for the Royal Bank Cup (Hockey Canada National Title).
