The East End Community Pride Association is gearing up for its annual Winter Carnival, full of family fun for the entire community from February 17-19, 2017.
In order to make the event a success, the association has requested some support from the City of Timmins, including permission for several road closures.
We would like to advise residents of these road closures so that alternate plans for parking can be made if necessary.
Signs will also be posted, advising of the following closures:
- Â Saturday, Feb. 18, from 12:30-2pm: Golden Avenue from the Barn to Legion, Bruce Avenue from Legion to Porcupine Lake, Bloor from Porcupine Lake to Crawford, Bruce Avenue from Crawford to Legion, for the parade.
- Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19, from 11am-4pm: Legion Drive from Bruce to Shamrock to allow for children’s outdoor games.
