Timmins-James Bay breaking records for summer job funding

More summer jobs are opening up for students thanks to additional funding from Service Canada. A surplus allowed the government to allocate an additional $53,000 to the Timmins-James Bay riding. That is on top of the $600,000 already assigned to the area.

Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus says that money is a record for the area, and will help create over 220 jobs. Different companies will be getting the funding, like St. John’s Ambulance, and the Seizure and Brain Injury Centre.
