HSN is thanking northern doctors as part of Sunday’s Doctor’s Day

Health Sciences North is sending out their appreciation to all the area’s doctors, as part of this Sunday’s Doctor’s Day. May 1st marks the provincial day, which coincides with the birthday of Canada’s first female doctor, Emily Stowe.

Chief of Staff for HSN, Dr. Chris Bourdon, says doctors work in a very demanding field. He says it’s a profession where you come to rely on physicians in the worst of situations; whether it be time of day, time of year, or patient circumstances. But, he says he can always rely on the doctors at HSN to come through for their patients, and is sending out a “thank you” to all of the doctors at the hospital, and across the northeast.

Health Sciences North has 280 doctors that serve the entire northeast, saving many residents from having to travel south for major procedures.
